Haylee and Joe met while playing collegiate basketball at North Greenville University. They spoke for the first time in the cafeteria while complaining about the new food options post covid. They eventually found themselves sitting together every night. Realizing how much the two had in common, they became good friends immediately. On March 18th 2021, Joseph asked Haylee to be his girlfriend while spending their evening in downtown Greenville.

In the summer of 2023, Joe took Haylee on a hike at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee. While being showered with water underneath the falls, Joe asked Haylee if she would spend the rest of her life with him. The two thereafter celebrated with champagne as they had just confirmed what they had thought from the very beginning.

Haylee & Joe moved to Chesapeake Virgina in the summer of 2023. Joe currently works as an outside sales representative for Eastern Burlap & Trading Company helping distribute marine composite material to some of the nation's most respectable yacht builders. Meanwhile, Haylee is actively pursuing a career in business/finance as she is currently a State Farm team member in the Portsmouth area.
