We're getting married!

We met on the dating app of all dating apps! Here's a clue, the dating app designed to be deleted....Hinge. We had planned on meeting one another before Christmas time, however, I got COVID of all things. So, we didn't officially have our first date until January 9, 2022. We met up for pizza and drinks at PieTap. After we had our pizza, he mentioned he had another part of the date he wanted to take me to. The night ended with us going to the comedy club to see Akaash Singh. This may sound cliche, but that was one of the best nights for the both of us.

We were at his brother's house in Celina, Texas. His brother was hosting a game night and wanted all of his siblings and kids over for a night of food, drinks, and fun. It was around two hours in after the food when Jose's brother got up and wanted to thank everyone for coming out and spending time together. At that moment, our daughter Kaylah looked at me and said "Leslie, my dad bought concert tickets for you and him." With a confused look on my face, I read "Leslie Franco, will you marry me?" and I looked up at Jose, as he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. In a state of shock and joy, I happily said "YES!!" and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the wedding!
