Where is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is on the other side of Oahu Island. It is about a 45 minute drive along the coast from the Honolulu/Waikiki area. There is a large parking lot at the ceremony site. Please plan to drive to and from Paradise Cove!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 2:30. Ceremony will start promptly at 3:00.

What reef-safe sunscreen should I use?

Answer

Most big brand sunscreens contain chemicals that are toxic for the ocean’s coral reefs. Hawaii has passed a law that prevents the sale of harmful sunscreens, so you can also wait to buy some there. Please avoid sunscreens that contain any of the following: Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Homosalate, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, PABA, Parabens, Triclosan, Any form of microplastics, such as “exfoliating beads” Reef-Safe Brands: -Thinksport -Goddess Garden -Raw Love -Suntegrity
