After meeting at a friend's house, Josh observed Jordyn from afar for a few years. Once the COVID lockdowns began in early 2020, Josh saw his window of opportunity, figuring Jordyn didn't have nearly as many men pining for her affection per usual. As an avid social media user, Josh decided to "slide into Jordyn's DMs" on Instagram, as the kids the say, and the rest is history!

Some folks like a public setting. Others prefer a scenic overview. Not these two! Josh came home from work one day for lunch. While Jordyn was cooking in the kitchen, Josh walked up the basement steps and proceeded to get down on one knee. Jordyn, who had worked the night before and had to go back the same night, was in no mood for funny business. She turned around, scoffed, and said something to the tune of, "Stop messing around" (PG-rated version). Josh then assured her there was no joke being pulled and she needed to turn around before his bad knees went numb on the hard kitchen floor. Josh prepared a few words to say (on paper), hands shaking all along the way. Jordyn cried but was gracefully able to provide a yes. After eating and getting the necessary FaceTimes out of the way, Josh then went back to work (he had a busy day...duty calls!). The private moment in the couple's first home will forever be a memory etched in each other's minds and hearts.
