We're getting Hitched!!

We met in high school. Greg a Junior and I a sophomore, at first he was more involved with my best friend at the time. But hanging around each other more and more made us realize we had a lot of things in common surprisingly. We hung out a lot and became literal best friends. But of course that slowly lead to more... We secretly started to go on dates and were texting each other 24/7 for about a month with out anyone knowing. I didn't want my best friend at the time to know I had feelings for her ex, but it eventually came out and turned into this big thing (ya know high school lol) Since everyone knew at this point, Greg FINALLY asked me to be his girlfriend the very next day. Looking back it was the best decision I ever made, I would choose that man a thousand times again!

It was a early Saturday morning, we had planned to go hiking with my cousin Jackie. There was something about that day, I was just not feeling it. I was in a bad mood and did not want to go hiking at all. But we still went, this was all of our first hike in a long time and Greg had picked the location. Little did I know it would be the hardest hike we've ever done... the air was thin just getting out of the car and we had a whole mountain to climb. The higher we got, the more grumpy I was getting lol. I kept telling Greg "I don't want to do this anymore, let's go back. I'm over it" and all he would say is "it will be worth it at the top". I was already dying, so I didn't care about the views at that point. After what felt like forever we finally made it to the top, they were right the views were awesome. But I was cold, annoyed, and tired and just wanted to go back down lol. Jackie and Greg kept saying "let's take pictures" I was wrapped in my hoodie and was so not in the mood, but they forced me to put my hood down and smile. I thought it was a little weird that Jackie was taking the pictures instead of in it, since we always take pictures of the three of us when we go hiking but didn't think too much of it. I'm standing next to Greg taking pictures on this giant rock. Greg was so smooth and stepped back a little while I was looking at the camera. But then I saw him down and was so confused and then BAM! He was on one knee with the most beautiful ring asking me to marry him!! Was by far the Best. Day. Ever!
