Our ceremony was in the evening on June 21st, and we spent the day together with our Maid of Honor, Rebecca Mather, and Best Person, Dayle Welch. The day was filled with anticipation and waiting!
We stayed at the Merchant Inn in Salem, a gorgeous historic property that served as the perfect backdrop as we awaited the start of the rest of our lives.
Even though we were getting ready together & didn't plan a first look, Jordan conveniently had his glasses off when Rachel first got dressed, so it was almost like a surprise!
Cheers!
We did, however, have a first look with Bobby Bauch, our wonderful friend and officiant. Bobby's reaction did not disappoint.
The interior of Hooper-Hathaway House, located on the House of the Seven Gables property, featured what can only be described as wallpaper goals and was the perfect place to relax before the event.
Rachel wore citrine pieces in her hair, a crystal that represents sunshine, light, and happiness, as well as success. Her bouquet was filled with gorgeous, locally sourced flowers by Helios Floral.
Similarly, Jordan's boutonniere featured locally sourced florals from Helios (located just down the street from our hotel!)
Rebecca Mather, Rachel's Maid of Honor, read a poem to honor the Summer Solstice and the changing of the seasons.
And Dayle Welch, Jordan's sister and Best Person, reminded us all of the simple joys of love with a reading from A.A. Milne's Winnie The Pooh.

Everyone together!
The House of the Seven Gables served as a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony.
After dinner, we went to Bambolina, a local restaurant in Salem, together with our guests. From there we continued the celebration at a couple of local bars for games, dancing, and more toasts.
