We met at the top of Mt. Spokane briefly in 2017. That was the year we both were struggling in life and God was working on our hearts. Jordan and I both worked at Mt. Spokane, but he was in the rental shop and I was outside checking tickets. After a night shift, we ran into each other for a brief moment only exchanging the word, 'Hey' (Jordan may have witnessed me, a yard sale by nature, tumble down the side of the mountain). We didn't see each other for the remaining season. The winter of 2018, rolls around and somehow I end up in the rental shop, looking my for my cousin and there was no one but Jordan standing behind the counter. We both stood there dumbfounded. I, of course, embarrass myself asking Jordan if he knew where my cousin was, not mentioning his name or what he looks like. He said, "No, but is your name, Peyton?". Least to say he jumped the gun and asked me if I wanted to go to coffee. A friendship was built first to get to know each other and we then moved into dating.
