We met for the first time at Falcon Days in September of 2021 at a brunch for the high school seniors. Almost a year later, we reconnected during our freshman year at Florida College right before Hurricane Ian. A mutual friend invited us and a couple of other people to Chick-fil-A as a last outing before we all got confined to campus for the week. That week, we watched Harry Potter and played games while hanging out and waiting for the hurricane to pass. We had a great time and went on our first date a couple of weeks later and "officially" started dating a few days after that on October tenth and the rest is history!

Exactly ten months after we started dating, our families met at a cabin in Oklahoma for the weekend. As the sun was setting on August 10th, 2023, I led a blindfolded Jordan down the path to the small dock for a special “anniversary date”. When she was able to open her eyes, she saw a picnic and sunset laid out before her with the sun reflecting off the water of a small lake. After I told her that I wanted a picture of her looking at the sunset, I pulled out the ring and had her turn around before asking her to marry me!
