Maid of Honor
Caitlin and Elaine went to college at the University of Miami together. They were fast friends after meeting the first day on campus through a mutual acquaintance. Back in 2006, you could find Elaine and Caitlin at the South Beach clubs wearing jean skirts and flip-flops. They’ve since upgraded their attire and gotten respectable jobs, but Elaine still likes to think they’re the same silly, but oh so cool ladies getting down at the club.
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Elaine met at Deloitte in San Francisco. Their friendship blossomed over cocktails and a love for electronic music. After a few concerts and festivals, Jamie became one of Elaine’s bestest friends. Jamie is the most kind, loyal, and dependable friend. While Elaine no longer works at Deloitte and Jamie has moved back home to Florida, they talk all the time and see each other as often as they can.
Bridesmaid
Brenna and Elaine met at Deloitte in Miami. Brenna was Elaine’s senior and showed her the ropes at work when she was fresh out of grad school. They became fast friends, venting about work over sushi and prosecco at Doraku (RIP) in Brickell. Brenna has the biggest heart and has been the connection to so many of Elaine's closest friends today. She now lives in New York, but Elaine and Brenna travel to each other's coast as often as they can to continue their prosecco dates.
Bridesmaid
Tina (aka Tinastilskin) and Elaine first met through Brenna in Miami. They both moved from Florida to San Francisco at the same time and happily found apartments within blocks from each other in the glamorous Tenderloin neighborhood. Broke and navigating a new city together, Tina became Elaine’s partner in crime. She’s also seen Elaine and Jordan’s relationship blossom from Day 1.
Bridesmaid
Brittany (aka Gold) met Elaine through Brenna in Florida when they would all go out on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Gold is a one of a kind friend and is always cracking jokes and making Elaine laugh. Gold is also one of Elaine's biggest motivators and such a positive influence in her life. Elaine and Gold recently ran the Napa-to-Sonoma Half Marathon where Gold, an avid runner, demolished Elaine.
Bridesmaid
Kara and Elaine met in San Francisco after being introduced by Tina. They quickly bonded over their love for Harry Potter and never looked back. During COVID, Elaine and Kara did weekly walks around the Mission neighborhood to get out of the house and get their steps in! Sadly, Kara has since moved to a different neighborhood, but they try to continue their walks and get together for board games and cocktails often.
Bridesmaid
Elaine and Shaine first met at one of Shaine’s infamous holiday / birthday bashes at her old house in Bernal Heights. Shaine is the life of the party, just like her brother. Which may be why this is the 1000th wedding party she's been in. A consummate role model, sister, and friend, Shaine is the personification of family and friend that Jordan strives for. Whether you need an open ear/mind, a party planner, or someone to help finish those nachos, no wedding party would be complete without Shaine.
Best Man
Jordan met Alex in 2002 where we went to high school at Parkmont High School (just kidding, it was Carlmont). He’s the life of the party and a loyal friend. Alex loves Fantasy Football and winning it all with auto-drafted teams. Alex also went on Birthright and has been there for Elaine and my entire relationship. It’s hard to imagine celebrating this special day without him standing by Jordan’s side - just as he has for the last 20 years.
Groomsman
Jordan met Michael shortly after graduating from San Francisco State in 2015 when he launched his career in recruiting. Michael helped train him and they soon began a close friendship together and found a deep connection in their love for food (particularly, spicy Szechuan!). He’s a diehard Packers fan so be sure to ask him about the heartbreaks and miracles (Jeff Janis). You’ll know you’ve met him if you hear “Hello, this is Michael!”.
Groomsman
If you found Sean (aka Stank), then you may have found the smoke! Jordan also met Sean at Randstad and became close friends. Sean raised his dog, Bailey, alongside Murphy (wuja wuja) and they both enjoy a good taco (“Adobado me”). If you need someone to call a list of people with Java on their resume or mess up your fantasy draft, you’ve found your guy. One of the most loyal friends around, he’s always there when you (or your dog) need him.
Groomsman
Mr. Worldwide. Dr. Ayo, Turkey patty. James and Jordan met in 2015 along with Michael. He’s a man of many nicknames and he’s always repping the latest drop from SUPREME (and Kith, Anti Social Social Club, Palace, etc). A true hype-beast and wing-aficionado, James travels more than anybody so be sure to ask him about his adventures.
Groomsman
Tim and Jordan met shortly before “normal life” was turned on its head and a love for wings soon turned into a bond. A real Google Sheets wizard and master planner, Tim soon became a very close friend who’s always there when you need him (and sometimes when you don’t!). Don’t forget to ask him about his Diablo 3 characters, where he’s dropping in on Warzone, or his cute dog-in-law, Callie.
Groomsman
The party isn’t cool unless you’re in hard shoes. From graveyard parties to looking at the moon, Sean (aka Chonnnnnnn) has shared a lot of great memories with Jordan since they met in high school back in 2002. An inaugural forefather of their 20+ year running Fantasy Football league, be sure to ask him about his successes (or lack thereof) throughout the years. Sean introduced Jordan to his first Pilau, and their friendship burns just like his mother’s Pilau.
Groomsman
Jason (aka Jay-sean) met Jordan back in 2010 when Jordan was living in Daly City (Tallwood gang!). They soon became close friends and have shared over 5 festivals, 15+ shows, 150+ different acts, and countless other shenanigans together. A movie buff and music lover, he’s your go-to for any cinema or music-related trivia. Don’t miss his sultry moves as he’s known to cut the rug on any dance floor.
