Absolutely. :) But, like, if you don't want to bring your kids... we can tell the grandparents that kids aren't invited.
Great question. Dinner will be catered by Jalsa, which specializes in Indian food. The menu will be vegetarian and pescatarian. Any accommodations can be made for dietary restrictions-- please just let us know in advance. For anyone who is not so experienced with Indian food, there will be plenty of salad, rice, and naan (AKA bread) and food of varying spice levels.
Celebrate with us! We will be wearing formal clothes in vibrant colors-- and we encourage you to do the same. Anything a bit fun or funky is always appreciated. :) Please keep in mind that Fairfax is typically quite warm in September. We are anticipating highs in the low 80s.
There are lots of options! There are quite a few Airbnbs and VRBOs in the area. If you're interested, please reach out to us-- we are maintaining a list of promising spots near the venue. If you’d prefer to stay at a hotel, please go to our “Travel” page, where we have discounted rates at a couple hotels in neighboring towns.
Please no gifts. Really-- this isn't a test! We feel that we have everything we need. What we *would* love from you all is a card with a favorite memory of us and/ or some loooOOooove advice. :)
Please feel free to reach out to Jordan and Kate with any and all questions. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Cell service is spotty at the venue and around town. Wifi is available just about everywhere, except on the hike.
