Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Answer
Yes! The wedding and ceremony will be at Seward Johnson Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. A wedding invitation also grants you access to park for the entire day so please feel free to arrive early, explore, and get to know what makes this venue so special. We’ll send a paper map with your invitations, but GFS also offers digital guides for tech-savvy guests, available here: https://www.gfsmap.org/

Is there a dress code and what should I wear?
Answer
What a fun question! Grounds for sculpture is an outdoor sculpture park and museum. We want to keep the vibrant spirit of this creative venue alive in our celebration. PLEASE dress to impress! If you have a special number hanging in the back of your closet waiting for its day in the sun, this is the time to wear it out. Nothing is too flashy, fluffy, or flamboyant for these brides. We only ask our guests to be mindful of the August heat as our ceremony will be outside.

Are children allowed?
Answer
We love your children, but due to the size of the venue, the presence of alcohol, and the pond outside of the reception, we’re requesting that you leave all kiddos at home.

Can I have a plus-one?
Answer
We are trying to accommodate as many additional guests as possible, but we are at war with the maximum occupancy limit at our reception space. I you don’t see a plus one on your invitation* please call one of the brides (or a maid of honor) and we will see what we can do. *Please wait until invitations are sent out this Spring to reach out with any plus-one requests. Plus-ones MUST be confirmed by July 10th, 2024.

Is the venue accessible?
Answer
There will be golf carts located at the park entrance for guests with limited mobility. The golf carts will shuttle guests in need to the ceremony space and the reception, but please let one of the brides know beforehand so we’re able to accommodate all guests.

Will there be parking?
Answer
There will be complimentary parking available behind the Rat’s restaurant, close to both the reception and ceremony space, but we are also providing a shuttle bus from the hotels to the venue, so anyone planning to stay the night nearby can indulge without worry! We will include details for catching the bus in the invitation suite.

Is there anywhere local we can stay?
Answer
We have hotel blocks available at 2 nearby hotels! The shuttle bus will make stops at both hotels on the way to and from the wedding & reception. Information for booking a room will be found under the "travel" tab above.
Question
Can we take photos at the ceremony?
Answer
We have hired a lovely wedding photographer: https://parlamerphotography.com/ The brides will make digital photographs of the ceremony available to anyone who asks. If you absolutely MUST take a photograph with your phone, please do so before the ceremony begins or as the wedding party is leaving.
