What is the dress code?

Answer

For our ceremony and reception, the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Ladies can wear a nice dress, and the gentlemen can wear a suit or nice shirt and a tie.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes we do! We have a hotel block booked at La Quinta, and with the discount rooms are $89/night. The address is 120 Riverchase Parkway East, Birmingham, AL 35244. To make reservations, please call and make a reservation under the "Hedke/Myer Wedding" to receive the block discount.

When do I need to be at the church?

Answer

Please be try to be at the church no later than 1:45pm, 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

What's the weather in Alabama going to be like?

Answer

Southern winters are usually pretty mild, with averages in December ranging from 40-60 degrees. It can get pretty cold at night so make sure to pack a coat!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

As much as we love your presence, we ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony. We will have an amazing photographer taking pictures during the ceremony that we are more than happy to share with you. Feel free to take as many pictures as you want during the reception!
