Jordan and I met online in April of 2022. Our first date was 4/28/2022. He had plans to take me to this really nice restaurant and he was going to pick me up at 7pm. Well life as a single parent had me running behind and I actually had to call and cancel the date with him. He didn’t let me go so easily though. He was swift to come up with another plan and he actually waited while I got everything under control. He canceled our reservation at the initial place and we ended up going to another restaurant in downtown Traverse City. What I thought would be an 1 hour or so date turned into us talking for hours that night. He was my best date ever and now I get to marry him!

Neither Jordan nor I ever considered dating someone that had lots of kids because we both already had our fill. Somehow God knew we were better together anyway. Our connection overpowered everything and raising my 4 kids and Jordan’s 5 kids has been an amazing experience! With the right partner, all things are so much more manageable and this has been a true testament to that! We’re even more thankful to the kids themselves because they’re all so amazing and we are so blessed to have such a good group of littles! We love you all Jordan, Catherine, Mikayla, Jeremiah, Ava, Phoenix, Judah, John and Indigo!
