Tubing/Toobing/Floating the Guadalupe River
The Guadalupe River is a great spot to jump in the river and cool off, or enjoy a float. There is a short float around the horseshoe and a longer float that requires a shuttle service. There are multiple tube rental businesses within walking distance of the wedding venue. **Weather Permitting - Please call before coming out to make sure they are open and the river levels are high enough.
River Rose Tavern
Great place to grab some food, have a couple beverages and be in the mix of Canyon Lake. Sometimes there is live music, and always good people watching.
Overlook Park
Comal and Canyon Parks have beaches for the general public to swim. There are a few trails for walking/hiking. Generally not crowded.
Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels
One of Texas' most renowned water parks, and a fantastically fun place to go and cool off on a hot day. Usually open around mid-April, check their website to make sure they will be open before just showing up!
