A week before the start of our senior year at ISU - August, 2019! We both were at our favorite bar in Ames, IA - AJ's. The patio was open and filled with college students getting ready for the year to start. Both Jordan and I told ourselves it'd be "too late to start talking to someone", since graduation was on the horizon. Jordan and his friend saw me (Yes, Tess is writing this) and my friends across the bar. Jordan said he never went up to girls because he's too awkward, but did it this time! We added each other on snapchat and I stalked his bearded bitmoji until he asked me to hang out after about a week. (This is still up for debate - I think I reached out, he thinks he did) Anyways - We've been with each other practically every day since. The beginning of our relationship was filled with a lot of "maybe"'s from Tess, and a few repetitive questions of "Will you be my girlfriend?"'s from Jordan.. I had to wait till I knew he'd get along with the Doheny boys (: Jordan met my brothers & dad at the ISU v. Texas game on November 16 of 2019. It was the first time my dad was excited for me to be talking to a boy! November 19 - we started dating! He passed my last test! Thanks AJ's and ISU Football!!
