Jon-Luc & I actually met through a mutual friend in 2010. We didn’t think anything of it just another friend to add to the list. We continued to stay friends through out the years while we lived our own separate lives. I remember Skyping Jon-Luc while he was deployed in 2010-2011 and trying to be a good friend and support system for him while he was away. We ended up losing contact for a few years not too long after Jon-Luc got back from deployment. Let’s jump to 2016 Jon-Luc randomly sent me a message on Facebook while he was deployed and sparked up a conversation about how life was treating us. We never stopped talking from that moment on. Jon-Luc and I talked for about a year before he finally asked me to be his girlfriend on 8/12/17. I was excited to have finally found someone that understood me and was willing to understand my daughter. From that date on he was driving to PA from SC once a month so we could see each other through our long distance relationship which continued until 2019. In 2019 Jon-Luc decided to move to PA with his side kick Rocky and live with Zuri and I. It was an adjustment but we made it work and loved learning more about one another. In 2022 Jon-Luc decided to get down on one knee and ask me to become his wife, obviously the answer was yes! Let the wedding planning start!
