We’re getting married!

Gavin and his two brothers moved to Bentonville, Arkansas in the summer of 2018 for Gavin to start his career at Walmart. Little did he know, just one month later, his future wife would move in right across the pool from him. Jess and her dog, Corrie, moved into The Pointe Apartment complex in Bentonville in July 2018 to pursue her first job post grad school at Walmart. Just one week after she moved in, she attended a comedy show at the complex’s clubhouse and noticed three men around her age from across the room. The next day she got off early from work and decided to relax at the pool when she was approached by one of the three men, Gavin’s brother Payton, she saw at the comedy show just the night before. She was chatting with Payton when Gavin and Gage (Gavin’s youngest brother) came by the pool. Gavin immediately chimed into the conversation and they ended up talking for the next hour or so. For those of you who know Jess, she is not the type to invite herself to hangout with random strangers. That afternoon she invited herself out with the three men anyways. Payton fell asleep before the night started, so Jess, Gavin, and Gage hit Fayetteville’s notorious Dickson Street for a night out. Gavin and Jess hit it off right away and Gavin even invited her out to his father’s birthday party the next day. It was then when Jess was introduced to Gavin’s family, just one day after meeting him (no pressure). After Gavin saw how naturally Jess fit in with his family, he knew she was something special. Less than 3 months later, the two knew they were destined to be together. They decided to take their time and settle into their careers before taking their relationship to the next level. They ended up adopting two more dogs to their family, Tank & Rocket. Gavin proposed on June 19th, 2021 in Osage Park in Bentonville, AR nearly three years after meeting Jess. Gavin also arranged for their three fur babies to witness the whole event as they were in a nearby dog park with Gavin’s family. The two now live together with their three dogs: Corrie, Tank, and Rocket. Jess continues to work at Walmart while Gavin is working for Crawford & Co. and is also pursuing a career in music. They love spending time with their family, friends, and adorable puppies.
