On Sunday 11/12/23, there will be the Bay Bridge Walk/Run, so please plan your travels accordingly and expect possible delays. Here are the details: • Eastbound lanes will be closed 12:01 AM-2 PM. Westbound lanes will operate two ways. • The eastbound off-ramp from US 50 to MD 8 will be closed. The on-ramp from MD 8 to westbound US 50 will also be closed. For those driving to the venue. Bridge opens at 2pm but the exit to our venue is closed until 3pm. You will go past MD8 and take Thompson Creek Road exit (Exit 38A), make a right and drive parallel to 50 and gps will re route you to our venue.
Don’t Miss The Bus!! Transportation will be provided so you can safely enjoy our wedding ceremony and reception. Pick up from Hyatt Place at 2:30pm Pick up from Holiday Inn at 2:45pm Arrive at Kent Island Resort at 3:00pm Continuous shuttles will be provided through-out the evening. If you do not wish to attend the after party, the bus will return guests to their hotel. Final pick up from The Farmstead at 11:00pm
If you wish to drive to our wedding, Kent Island Resort has a parking lot in which guests can park. Our ceremony will start punctually at 3:30pm, so please arrive no later than 3:15pm.
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and Guest", you are welcome to bring a date otherwise we would like to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family!
The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
The ceremony will be outdoors; weather permitting. Following the ceremony, you will move indoors for the reception. Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held at Kent Island Resort in Stevensville, MD.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. The only exception are those children in our Wedding Party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
