Looking for a quick day hike with stunning views? Mt Jo is a 2,876-foot mountain suitable for hikers of all skills. The loop from the Adirondack Loj is 1.8 miles. Or you can hang out at Heart Lake or take a short like along several other trails that start from the Loj. The High Peaks Information Center and Hungry Hiker restaurant are also located at the Adirondack Loj.

This 5.4 mile round trip hike has incredible views and the trailhead is close to Saranac Lake!
Feel like tackling a High Peak? This hike is about 5 miles RT but don't let that fool you. It is STEEP. Recommended for intermediate hikers. The trailhead fills up quickly, so get there early! Bring plenty of water and good traction for your feet (don't hike this in sneakers!) Please message us if you are interested in hiking and we will be happy to give you some more tips.
