Our first date was at a winery where a bottle (or two) of peach wine was shared—Jon impressed me by opening the car door for me, and he hasn’t stopped since. Conversation flowed effortlessly as we talked about our lives, our dreams, and everything in between. It was the kind of connection that felt easy, genuine, and like we'd known each other for years. Since then, we’ve shared vacations, Strathmere summers, countless movie nights, and cooking adventures trying new recipes—along with plenty of fun date days (Kayla’s personal favorite). We’ve supported each other through seasons of growth, danced at concerts, and celebrated holidays with our families. The perfect proposal happened at our favorite beach in Strathmere, where Jon surprised me by secretly inviting all our loved ones. It was a moment full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
