We initially met in Wellington in December 2016, and then met multiple times through different friends and quickly realised we shared a passion for adventuring outdoors. We went surfing in Lyall Bay on our first date in October 2017, and after that, the rest is history!

Over Christmas time this year we were on a week long hike in Aspiring National Park, Queenstown . On the second day, we reached Fohn Lakes and took a swim before walking around the lake to take photos. Jon proposed on the top of a viewpoint overlooking the mountains.
