It all started with a birthday party. 🤭 My cousin was planning her husband’s 40th birthday party in New York during December. I was looking for places to stay and of course everything was super expensive so I ask her if she knew anyone who may wanted to room together. She said that she in fact had a friend who was going alone and wouldn’t mind sharing a room. She told me that Jonathan was a gentleman, respectful and thought we would be a good match….for the trip. She sent his Instagram info and after seeing his pictures, I reached out. J was nice but wasn’t giving me flirty vibes. (We love a down to business king) We ONLY spoke about room accommodations 😂 I took that for what is was and kept it friendly but unfortunately J was not able to make the trip after all due to work. I still made the party and you know I showed up looking goodT. I later found out J had been asking my cousin’s husband about me after seeing videos and pictures from the party. Some time went past and then I received a message from J on Instagram ON VALENTINES DAY asking how everything was going. Well…seems to be going great if you ask me. ❤️

It all started on a sunny North Carolina day when Charlie called me and said she was planning Efrain’s 40th birthday. Charlie suggested that I should think about getting an Airbnb with her cousin Brandy who is flying in from LA. So I started instagram stalking Brandy’s page to see who this was that I might be splitting a room with. I was like okay okay alright. So we tried to coordinate booking a place to stay for the trip but I unfortunately wasn’t able to make the trip due to schedule conflicts for deployment training I had to do last minute. I had no intentions at the time of pursuing Brandy. We stayed in touch even though I did not make the trip. I eventually asked Charlie and Efrain what was her situation and everything changed after that. We started building a friendship from there and keeping in touch even more. I wouldn’t have never guessed 4 years later we would be at this point in life. Its crazy how the universe works and where life will take you!!
