We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Jon and Kelsey both attended West Career and Technical Academy in the graduating year of 2017. Even though both shared the same classes the first three years, it wasn't until senior year that they started to talk and hang out. Kelsey was oblivious when her friends set up a rollerskating night and invited Jon so the two could grow closer. Soon after, Jon and Kelsey started watching movies in class (sorry mom and dad) and eventually Jon asked Kelsey to Prom on May 23, 2017.

As the summer of 2017 came to a close, Kelsey and Jon started their college experience 417 miles apart. For 2 years, Kelsey and Jon grew closer through lots of FaceTime calls and fun visits. Looking back, long-distance wasn't fun, but it was a fundamental part of their relationship.

After going to Maggianos for dinner and walking around their old high school, Jon took Kelsey to get a "lemonade" at the Canes he used to work at. This location was right next to their high school and Kelsey used to visit Jon frequently to leave special notes on his car while he was working. When the two pulled up and went inside, Jon started talking with the manager. They started reminiscing about a time where they wrote their names on the roof and decided to go see if it was still there. Jon prompted Kelsey to come along and the three started making the climb up the ladder to the roof. It all happened very fast, but as Kelsey was almost up the ladder, she remembered Jon asking her if she could climb a vertical ladder. On the roof, there was a picnic blanket, flowers, and a beautiful sunset when he asked her to marry him. (Shout out to the amazing people at Canes that helped Jon with this memorable moment)
