Love is patient, but we are not...We're Eloping!

While we'd love nothing more than to share our special day with each of you, we love our friends & family members and we care about your health & wellbeing. We are becoming impatient with "waiting out the pandemic" to get married, so we have decided to elope. We can't wait to celebrate our nuptials with you at a later date!

We first met in London in 2008 where we were participating in a work/study program. We became friends and stayed in touch over the next few years while we each continued our international adventures - Jon went to China while Heather went to Thailand and Australia (obviously, this was all pre-COVID!). Eventually, we ended up back in Southern California, where we both grew up. We had our first date kayaking to brunch in Sunset Beach and became "official" on October 1, 2015. We've been through so much together and this past year of working from home has brought us even closer together!

Jon chartered a private sailboat in Cabo, Mexico on October 23, 2020 and proposed at sunset in front of The Arch! We're so happy that the ring didn't go overboard, but that's another story...

We will tie the knot at The Steeple House (aka the Pineapple Chapel) in Lahaina around 4pm HST on 03.31.21, followed by a first dance, cake cutting, and a sunset walk on the beach. After the sun sets, we will return to the resort where we will have a private dinner for two!
