JFK to DUR
We usually fly South African Airlines from JFK to Durban (there is a connecting flight in Johannesburg- JNB). Flight time is approx 15 hours one way to JNB and 45 minutes to Durban. From our experiences, there are flights via Emirates through Dubai that takes you straight into Durban, and flights to durban through London Heathrow with multiple other airlines. We recommend arriving no later than 08/14/2018 because wedding festivities begin 08/16/2018 and we would hate if you were jetlagged through the fun.

The Bride and Groom highly recommend hiring a car. Public transport in South Africa is not for the faint hearted and requires one to cram into a mini van that should hold 10 people, but the locals have the uncanny ability to fit at least 20... If you do drink excessively or don't want to drive, we suggest using mozzie cabs (http://www.mozziecabs.mobi/)
