WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE DAY

Answer

We plan on having a ceremony, followed immediately by cocktail hour, into reception.  During the cocktail hour we will have a curated love song playlist in the background, and welcome some suggestions prior to the wedding of your favorite love songs, old or new.  We encourage you to grab your loved one and take a brief pause to share a slow dance during that time as will not be having any formal dancing during the reception. Our reception will be a time of instrumental music, amazing food, and even better conversation.  Having been to (and worked at) many weddings over the years, this is done with intention.  Dinner will be done buffet style so that you get to enjoy some of everything, so no need to make a selection of meal and regret it later!  Enjoy the food, fellowship, and friendship of the day. Though we will have table arrangements set up as a guideline, we encourage you to take your plate to a different table and socialize as much as you'd like! We love you all and don't want to keep you too confined! Kevin and I will also be at a big table, but with lots of chairs around it. We encourage you throughout the dinner to pop on over and join us for a quick chat! It will allow us to have a chance to speak with each of you while enjoying our meals!
