We're getting married!

Kelly and Mary are both native Memphians who share a passion for local eats, cold brews (beer and coffee), and, of course, the Memphis Grizzlies. One day, after swiping on a dating app for what felt like the millionth time, Mary landed on a stud that she couldn’t get out of her mind. She was nervously filled with joy when the notification pinged, “Matched!” Kelly didn’t waste any time starting a conversation with Mary and setting up a first date. We met for drinks on a cold, rainy afternoon in late November and spent about 3 hours together. Since we were still in the middle of a pandemic, a lot of our date options were limited. However, we took advantage of our time at home to continue getting to know each other. Kelly showed off his grilling skills and cooked Mary a delicious pork-chop dinner. Mary created an at-home local beer tasting night accompanied with Central BBQ (our favorite!). Eventually, we were able to venture out on more fun dates and discover that we each had what we were looking for in a partner. What really sealed the deal, though, was our dogs. Kelly has a handsome lab named Cash, who is the friendliest, goodest boy on the block. Mary has an adorable mini-dachshund named Mindy, who rules the house, and a greyhound lab mix named Zeena, who is full of energy. All of our dogs hit it off and became best friends, and Mindy stole Kelly's heart not long after Mary.
