Where will the ceremony be held?
Answer
The ceremony will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Historic Church. The address is 225 Alexander Lane Solomons, MD 20688 per Google. OLSS has two churches (new and historic). The historic church entrance faces the Solomon's boardwalk. Parking is available near the new church, located behind the historic church and school. Additional parking is available on the street or parking lot across the road.

Getting on base for the Reception

The reception will be held at the Beach House on base, which is located at 23248 Cedar Point Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670. We will provide a list of attendees to the gate for those who are unable to access the base. If you do not have access to the base, we will need you to confirm your (1) legal first and last name and (2) country of citizenship to Cat (240.925.5396) or Taylor (240.298.3404) at your earliest convenience. It is important to note that there are 3 gates to get on base, but not all are always open. Gate 1 is the only one open 24/7 and is located on Buse Road (across from the Shell Station by Pegg Road).

What do I need to know about being on base?

Just a few things to note once you are on base... The speed limit is fairly slow and strictly enforced. There are also several speed bumps that are not always easy to see. Closer to the venue there is a plane runway where you will need to make sure to stop before crossing. Most of this is self explanatory so long as you follow the traffic signs you should be good, but we wanted to give those who may be unfamiliar a heads up and avoid any unwanted surprises. There is a small parking lot at the venue. If that fills, please feel free to park along the shoulder of Cedar Point Road (either side is fine).

What do I need to know about the reception?
Answer
We will have catering provided by Mission BBQ. Please let us know if anyone has any dietary restrictions so we can do our best to accommodate. Soft drinks as well as beer, wine, and a signature cocktail will be provided. You are also free to bring your own beverages of choice if you have a particular drink you prefer. However, we would like to respectfully remind everyone that the reception will be on a military base so please use discretion and plan accordingly as ubers/lyfts/taxis will not be able to access the venue. While the reception will be indoors, additional covered seating will be available outside should anyone like to get some fresh air.
