We're getting married!

We met at Flanner House Elementary School which is where I was working at the time. DeWayne would often come to visit his mother which also worked there. I didn't like him at first because he was very arrogant, well one day for some reason he walked into my office and noticed all the pictures of all the students that were on my wall. Being his arrogant self he said one day your going to have a big picture of me on your wall, and me with my slick mouth said "Yea whatever" Well fast forward and after numerous pictures of him on my wall and every where else he became less annoying. The rest is history!

DeWayne took me to Chicago for the weekend, I really didn't want to go because my daughter was due to have her baby and I didn't want to miss seeing my 1st grand child being born. Well unbeknownst to me he had also about 20 of our family and closet friends also come to Chicago to surprise me. He had plans on proposing to me in Chicago but he got very sick and of course I didn't believe him because he's always playing. So he waited to propose to me on my birthday which was August 24th. We went to dinner and as always I was complaining about letting another birthday come and go without a ring and when I turned around he had my ring in his hands. So "He Asked" and I said "About Damn time" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you on October 5th!
