Briana and Melvin's journey began at the University of Houston, where they crossed paths for the first time on April 16, 2018. It was at The Track House, during a probate after party celebrating Briana's initiation into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., that they had their first meaningful conversation. Little did they know that this chance encounter would mark the start of a beautiful love story. Later that week they went on their first date to Wingstop, where they quickly realized they had a lot of things in common. On June 18th, 2018 Melvin asked Briana to be his girlfriend after she proclaimed her love for him at Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.
