We're getting married!

Taylor & Mike met in May of 2015 on a spring day in Boston, Massachusetts. Mike and a few of his friends went out to Local 149 in Southie for brunch. While he enjoyed his Bloody Mary and a few oysters, little did Mike know that his future bride was just down the block in her new apartment, getting ready to go to Harpoonfest later that afternoon. Mike and the guys headed to Harpoon after brunch, and both groups enjoyed local craft beer, cider, and pretzels. During the festival, Taylor caught Mike's eye, but timing was poor as one of his friends had just called an Uber for the group. As luck would have it, the Uber wouldn’t fit everyone, so Mike started walking toward Summer Street, headed back to Southie. A Boston City Cab pulled up to Mike and asked if he was trying to hail a ride. He got in and as they started to head back to Southie, the driver had to stop to let two women cross the road. Of course, one of them was Taylor, who Mike immediately recognized as the “one that got away” from inside Harpoonfest. Mike leaned out the window and hollered “Hey, do you guys need a ride back to Southie?” After some hesitation, Taylor and her friend Rachael climbed in - apprehensively - for the short ride back to their apartment. The cab ride ended with Mike asking for Taylor’s number, and a chance to take her out for drinks sometime. It was a few weeks before they met up for their first date at Local 149, but the rest is history. We’re so excited to share this day with you, and we hope you can come celebrate with us on the beautiful Maine coast!
