Kristin and Bill met on a beautiful May afternoon in Charlotte. Ashley, one of Kristin's closest friends, invited her to a crawfish boil hosted by her now husband, Shea. Of course it was not just any crawfish boil, because Ashley had other plans in store. Ashley was very eager to introduce Kristin and Bill, with the hopes they would hit it off! A few crawfish and sarcastic comments later, Bill and Kristin made plans to go on their first date the next day. Bill took Kristin for a romantic picnic in the park, which turned into dinner that night, and the rest is history!

One of Bill and Kristin's favorite spots is Asheville, NC. It was during a weekend in Asheville to celebrate Bill’s birthday, that he proposed, knowing Kristin would never expect it. Kristin and Bill spent several wonderful days wandering the city (perhaps getting lost a time or two) and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with plans to end the weekend with a decadent dinner at Curate, one of Asheville’s treasures. By reserving a table at one of her favorite restaurants, Kristin unknowingly set the stage for a night that would forever change hers and Bill’s lives. Bill proposed, and through tears of joy, Kristin said yes! We cannot wait to celebrate with you as we begin the next chapter of our lives. Love, Kristin and Bill

Due to COVID-19, we had to make significant changes to our wedding plans. We are still getting married on November 14th, but we will only be able to have a few people in attendance.
