We're getting married!

David and Brittni met while they were both attending Florida State University (Go Noles!) in Tallahassee, Florida. Brittni was an undergraduate student and David was pursuing his Masters while also working as a Graduate Assistant with the Noles football team. They were introduced through mutual friends Jamie Center & Lauren Gilroy, both of whom are in the wedding party! After knowing each other as acquaintances for several months, they eventually went on their first date. Shortly after, they made their relationship *official* on June 15, 2014.

In February 2018, David and Brittni were both offered new professional opportunities. The catch? The opportunities were hundreds of miles apart from each other. David was offered a job with the Aggies football team at Texas A&M University while Brittni was offered a job at a prominent organization in Tallahassee, FL working on the communications team of the Florida League of Cities. They both accepted their new opportunities and embarked on a long-distance relationship. Nearly four years later, the couple is still long-distance, with David in Texas and Brittni in Florida. (Imagine how fun wedding planning must've been!) The distance has been difficult, but they'd both agree it's made their relationship stronger. The couple very much looks forward to finally being able to live together - in the same city, in the same home, with the same last name 💗

On Sunday, August 30, 2020, with a beautiful view while surrounded by friends, David popped the question! The answer, of course, was "yes!" After 8 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on July 2, 2022!
