Things To Do

New York

New York, NY

New York is still a pretty cool place to hang out in! Get a free hot dog with a beer at Rudy's! Check out my favorite ramen places in the East Village: Misoya or TabeTomo (Favorite of all time), grab some fried pierogies at Veselka, karaoke at the various Duets, eat the best vegetarian meal you ever had at Buddha Budai, the best tacos at Los Tacos No. 1 (Chelsea location is best), have a gourmet hot dog at Crif Dog (East Village), challenge yourself with some Phaal at Brick Lane Curry House (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64rS9w_LJl8), or enjoy the various museums! MoMa is best when a little buzzed, but Natural History and the Met are great afternoons! Kendall recommends Pouring Ribbons for a East Village bar and Cibar for a classy bar experience (Our first date was here!) but try to go when they're opening their doors!

Middlesex

Middlesex, NJ 08846

From Rutgers, to various Edison haunts, there is a ton to do near the venue. Menlo Park and Woodbridge Mall are fun shopping experiences that took up a bunch of my time in college. Go to Rutgers University and grab some world famous fat sandwiches or visit my old watering hole at Stuff Yer Face! If you're exhausted, Island Spa is available as well! Craving sushi? Theres Kura conveyor belt sushi, AND an all you can eat sushi place called Sushi Palace! Need some booze for your hotel stay? Joe Canals is one of the best liquor warehouses in the state!

Hudson County

NJ

Visiting closer to the Lam-Boyda house? We might talk you into a Taiji Oriental Massage or a day at King Spa and Sauna. As we live in a very Hispanic neighborhood, there is great Peruvian food at La Kausa, another Kura conveyor belt sushi nearby, Colombian food at Noches de Colombia, and Cuban at Rumba Cubana. Ask us for additional local recommendations!

Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA

If you're feeling ambitious and want to leave New Jersey/New York for another cool city, Philly is super fun. Reading Terminal Market has a ton of very cool stores and food to try (I like the gumbos), their Chinatown is a nice little afternoon walk with a great noodle place at Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House, or get your American history/Nicolas Cage on at the various historical sites!
