Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

75 Maple Street: the Maple Street Parking Lot. From the parking lot, guests will walk south on Depot Drive to Cross Street, hang right, then follow signs for the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. There is additional free parking at the Frog Island Parking Lot, though it tends to fill up early on weekends. Paid and unpaid street parking is available all over if you're up for a bit of a walk.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Infants are welcome! We ask that older kids stay home, but if bringing your children will allow you to change your RSVP to a yes, please reach out: we want you here with us!

Is there transportation between the hotel and ceremony?

Answer

We are excited to offer a shuttle from the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest to the Ypsilanti Freighthouse and back again at the end of the night. The shuttle can seat 12 guests at a time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Freighthouse has beautiful, original 1880s hardwood floors—stilettos could make you trip. Wear whatever makes you feel most festive, comfortable, and ready to eat, drink, and dance! April weather in Michigan could be ANYTHING. On average, days are in the 50s and nights will be cool. Bring a wrap or jacket.
