Question

What should I wear?

Friday: Casual but festive! It's probably going to be warm so we want you to be comfortable. Ladies can wear sundresses or other lightweight summer clothing. Festivities will be held partially on grass so we recommend a thick heel or nice sandals. Men can wear nice pants/shorts with short sleeve or long sleeve button-downs, or polos. No jeans, please. Jackets are 100% optional. Saturday: Again, it's going to be warm! Lightweight cocktail attire is recommended. For men, khakis or slacks and button downs with a light jacket, or a lightweight suit. Ties are optional. For ladies, lightweight cocktail dresses/jumpsuits. Ceremony and cocktail hour will (weather-permitting) be held on grass so we recommend a thicker heel. We will continue to update this answer based on weather predictions so check back the week of the wedding for any additional updates!

Question

Will transportation be provided for all wedding events?

Answer

For the welcome party, we will not be providing transportation. If you are not staying at Troutbeck, we recommend booking a local taxi ahead of time to take you to and from the party. We recommend Watson Livery (845.464.8178). Do not rely on ride-sharing apps as they will not necessarily be available. For the wedding, we will provide shuttles from Inn at Pine Plains and Troutbeck to and from Lion Rock Farm on Saturday. If you will be coming from another location, you can grab the shuttle from either of these hotels or you can book a taxi service to take you to and from Lion Rock. Note, if you are staying at Troutbeck, we will have two separate pick-up times. You will be assigned to a time when you check in. We kindly ask that you be ready for your assigned time due to capacity limitations. Thank you! Shuttles will also be provided back from the wedding for those staying at Inn at Pine Plains or Troutbeck. They will begin departing at 10pm. The last shuttle will leave at 11:30pm.
