We met through two mutual friends that worked together. It was Marty's 30th birthday and John was there to celebrate with him. One of my best friend's husband, who worked with Marty, was also there. She kept asking me to come and hang out with her since she didn't really know anyone. I decided to go! When I got there I met John and we all hung out the rest of the night. Before I left John asked how we would get to hang out again and so I gave him my number and the rest was history!

John and I were on vacation visiting my parents in Arizona. We went out for a hike on Silly Mountain. While we were hiking I started thinking he is acting kind of weird. He kept stopping around the same spot saying "I'm just taking in the view". I kept thinking "yep same view the first time you stopped". I had no idea he was trying to wait for people to keep walking so there wouldn't be many people around. As we kept walking all of a sudden I turned around and John was down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and I said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
