Having recently moved back to Palm Coast, FL from Daytona Beach, Allie started going out to local bars as something to do. With this, she thought maybe she’d meet some people and make new friends in the area. But recently single, she had no intentions of meeting someone to date. On the evening of May 3rd she told her parents she was going out to the local bar she had been frequenting. Her mom suggested she try a different place, a local pool hall they had been to. Allie decided she’d go to Brass Tap first and check out the pool hall after having a beer or two. Allie walked into Brass Tap and sat at her regular seat at the bar, which had no one sitting on either side. A few minutes later, John, who had stepped outside for a moment, came back in and sat back down where he had been sitting. This happened to be right next to Allie. After a few minutes of silence, John worked up the courage to use the classic pick up line: “So you come here often?”. And the rest is history. They spent the next several hours talking and laughing. They completely hit it off. Needless to say, Allie never made it to the pool hall. Although they were both recently single and took things slowly, they’ve been together ever since!
