Marin Headlands
The Marin Headlands are known for stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and coastline. You can drive straight to the top, or hike hundreds of trails.
Hiking & Beaches
There are endless hikes, beaches, and hikes leading to beaches near Marin. The closest ones include Mount Tamalpais (Mt. Tam), Tennessee Valley, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Rodeo Beach, and the Point Reyes National Seashore. We especially love the Coastal Trail in Mt Tam!
Sausalito
A laidback town with a Mediterranean vibe. Lots of shops, restaurants, and walking paths. Accessible by car or ferry.
Oakland & East Bay
Where we live! Countless restaurants and shops in Oakland and Berkeley; some of our favorite neighborhoods are Rockridge (ours!), Temescal, Piedmont Ave, Lakeshore, College Ave, and downtown Berkeley. We also love Lake Merritt in Oakland!
San Francisco
We couldn't possibly summarize San Francisco, nor would we try. But if you're looking for a day in the city, here are a few of our favorite spots: Golden Gate Park, the Ferry Building, Fisherman's Wharf, the Mission, Chinatown, and Coit Tower.
