South Slope Brewing District

South Slope Brewing District

Asheville, NC 28801

Welcome to Beercity! Asheville is known far and wide for its many breweries. If you want to visit a few of our favorites, head to the South Slope in Downtown. We recommend you try the Funkatorium, Burial, and Twin Leaf. If beer if not your thing, head over to Chemist Spirits, or Antidote for a first class cocktail.

Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center

Want to see some great mountain views? Take a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway. The link below will take you to the visitor center. There you will find maps and some very helpful folks with great overlook recommendations. If you are headed east on the Parkway from AVL, we recommend hiking Craggy Pinnacle, a short summit hike(30 min moderate uphill) to some amazing 360 views! If you are headed west, we recommend Graveyard fields(various trails and terrains), for some breathtaking waterfalls.

River Arts District

The RAD is home to artist studios, galleries, shops, restaurants, breweries, bars, parks, and music venues. A few of our favorite places to visit are the North Carolina Glass Center, Second Gear, The Wedge Brewery, and White Duck Taco Shop.
