We stood in line for 45 minutes for a cup of this coffee opening week...(Sorry joey!)Needless to say it was worth it, such a fun garden atmosphere in downtown Wilmington!

Bitty and Beaus Coffee shop is a Wilmington staple, and a MUST TRY when visiting Wilmington. (if you have room in your luggage make sure you buy a bag of their coffee grounds to bring home! you'll thank us later!)
Britts Donuts
The BEST donuts!! Do yourself a favor and stop by and get a bag of freshly made donuts at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. See website for abbreviated hours 4/12-4/14
Blueberry's Grill
Blueberry's Grill is our favorite brunch spot, we eat here after church (more often than we would like to admit!) (PRO TIP: get on the waitlist on your yelp app ahead of time! This is a popular spot! ALSO make sure you order the blueberry hushpuppies)

Indochine is a Thai and Vietnamese Asian restaurant we love going to on special occasions, their outdoor courtyard makes you feel like you're not even in Wilmington!
Fort Fisher State Historic Site
We enjoy taking Samson on walks at Fort Fisher, there is a beautiful path that borders the Atlantic Ocean, as well as plenty of walking paths where the historic civil war era bunkers are.
Battleship North Carolina
Battleship NORTH CAROLINA participated in every major naval offensive in the Pacific theater of operations during World War II, earning 15 battle stars. This authentically restored National Historic Landmark proudly serves as her State’s World War II Memorial to the 11,000+ North Carolinians who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Cape Fear River
The Cape Fear River Basin is the largest in the state and flows straight through Wilmington, Joey and I enjoy walking on the river walk, eating at The George, Elijah's, or Pilot house on the Riverwalk.
Wilmington Water Tours
Cruise up and down the Cape Fear River where the Infamous Pirate, Blackbeard once sailed! There are many options from an acoustic sunset cruise to a peaceful wildlife tour, or interesting historical tour by water.
Mayfaire Town Center
Mayfair is an outdoor shopping center with lots of retail stores and great food options!
