We like to say we are high school sweethearts. Summer of ‘09 began our journey and 5 years later, that journey came to what we thought was an end. Each of us moved on in life and went on to become the people we are today. 7 years later, life brings us back together and that flame still burns bright.

Linda received the ring and of course being the person she is couldn’t keep the excitement in and shared this bit of information with our 4 year old toddler. Linda’s plan for an epic proposal was now at risk for what would become a 4 year olds master take over. One evening, Joeselyn came home from work and met Linda and Penelope at the top of the stairs with wide eyes and tricky smiles. A knee and a few tears later, our family committed to become one.
