If traveling by air, the nearest airport is San Luis Obispo (SBP).  Other options would be: Santa Barbara (SBA) two hours; Fresno (FAT) two hours; San Jose (SJC) two and a half hours; San Francisco (SFO) three hours; Burbank (BUR) three hours; or Los Angeles (LAX) three and a half hours ~ all depending on traffic.

Additionally, Amtrak has depots in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.

If a rental car is necessary, we recommend looking into Turo, as it is generally cheaper than rental car agencies. 

For accommodations, we recommend checking frequently for the best rates on travel sites, such as Expedia, Hotwire, Travelocity, etc. Rates in SLO can be unusually high due to the increase in tourism. If you check frequently, you can catch a deal! 

Search both Atascadero and Paso Robles areas (equal distance to venue). San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay are both a 30 minute drive away. If coming with a group, it could be best to look into renting a house together through Airbnb or VRBO.
