Smith Rock State Park
Smith Rock State Park is one of the most desirable places to visit in Central Oregon. With spectacular views of the Cascade Mtn Range and the high desert scenery, you won't want to miss this! There are several hikes ranging from easy to hard there as well. This park is a 5 minute drive from the wedding venue where Emmalee's parents live.
Bend Brewing Company
Bend Brewery is one of 22 breweries located in the famous Bend, Oregon! This one is nice because it is right downtown bend. They have great happy hour food, and it is on Deschutes River which runs right through town! They also have yummy beer.
Steelhead Falls Trailhead
Steelhead Falls Trailhead is a Terrebonne local favorite hike.This hike is super easy and takes about 20 minutes to get to a breathtaking view of a waterfall. You'll walk right along the river and get to take in the smell of fresh sagebrush and juniper trees.
Sisters Coffee Company
Sister's Coffee Company is one of Emmalee and her mom's favorite coffee shops in all of Central Oregon! You will get to be in a large log cabin; take in the local artists; and enjoy a tasty fresh cup of coffee!!
Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House
Deschutes Brewery is another one of the 22 breweries located in Bend, Oregon. This brewery is special because its beers are sold all over the country now. This brewery is located downtown Bend and has a great atmosphere and terrific food! Would highly recommend!
Lake Billy Chinook
Lake Billy Chinook is one of the Crons' favorite lakes in all of Oregon! This lake is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, and all other water sports. The lake is actually composed of three rivers which come together to make one large lake in a huge canyon. The marina will be open all summer to rent bumper boats, jet skis and boats! They have a yummy cafe! This is definitely one place you won't want to miss!!!
Deschutes River Trail
The Deschutes River Trail goes throughout Bend. You'll get to wind through beautiful neighborhoods along the river while taking in the Ponderosa Pines. It is a super easy, light walking trail. Some people will be walking dogs or on bikes! It is peaceful and light! Would recommend.
Old Mill Shopping District
Old Mill Shopping District is located in Bend and is probably the nicest outdoor shopping area Central Oregon has to offer. With about 40 shops in this district, you'll find everything you need from R.E.I, to Lululemon, art galleries, spas, Regal Cinemas Movie Theater, Red Robin, and fine dining options. This is also located right along the Deschutes River with a paved trail for biking and walking.
Metolius River Camp Sherman
The Metolius River is another one of the Central Oregon locals' favorite places. It is a small, quiet, clear river tucked back in the Cascade Mountains. You'll get to be up close to the tall Ponderosa Pine trees and you'll get to see just how vast Oregon is with all of its different tundras.
Boneyard Beer Pub
Boneyard Beer Pub is another awesome brewery - one of 22 in Bend. If you go make sure to try their IPA!!!
