We met at the gym (classic). Tina was taking a gallop workshop in preparation for Tonehouse Turf Wars 2019 and Joe was instantly drawn to her....personality. The stars did not align romantically at first (timing) but we cultivated a friendship centered around intense athletic conditioning and dumb memes. Fast forward two years later through multiple relationships, life changes and a tiny little pandemic called Covid 19, we FINALLY had our first date on March 19th 2021. Joe famously did not realize it was a date (despite the venue being a champagne parlor....) and knowing this, Tina made her entrance with a particularly spicy pair of her signature red bottoms. And so began our adventure of love, laughter and life.

Under the guise of a birthday trip, Joe took Tina to Woodstock, VT. Given the significance of THE Dumpling's years of service, we decided to bring the little dude. Tina did not pick up on any of the multiple signs (ordering food in waves instead of all at once, Joe refusing to button his double breasted suit, her parents being oddly nonspecific about weekend plans) until Joe got down on one knee on the great lawn. Joe started the big speech with "You're my best friend and my soul mate - both the love of my life and my life partner". We honestly then both blacked out the rest and reverted to tears, kisses and of course - a resounding YES. We're so excited to celebrate the next chapter in our lives with you.
