How should we dress??

Answer

Yes we love the 80s - 80s dress, 80s music and 80s degrees is plenty hot for us - Soooo... we're bringing it back for our special day. Please use your imagination and come dressed in your favorite 80s get-up. Fancy is not required. Big hair, bangs, mullets and big smiles are encouraged.

There is no gift registry - what should we get the fantastic duo?

Answer

Gifts are not needed. We have everything we need with our love, well except a snowmobile - so if you feel obliged you can donate to our sled fund - otherwise save your money and make yourself a homemade quesadilla instead.

How far away is the Wedding Venue from Bend?

Answer

Approximately 20 minutes by car, 12 minutes if Joe is driving..

Can we camp at the Venue?

Answer

Yes - The fabulous Host Cari Hahn, is graciously allowing folks to camp on the premises, just let us know if you plan to do so - and we'll arrange a spot for you. Email shelley.fitts@gmail.com with your agenda and subject of camping at wedding

How much older is Joe than Shelly?

Answer

He's not... Shelly is 5 days older than Joe... But Joe's due date was on Shelly's Birthday - go figure!

What about COVID? Is this wedding going to be a super spreader event??

Answer

1) If you have COVID or have been exposed to COVID with 14 days of the wedding - please don't grace us with your germs, stay home and contribute to our snowmobile fund instead. 2) Please vaccinate and boosterize yourself if you choose to attend our event. 3) Masks will mostly likely be worn still in 7/2022 - so come prepared with yours - but we'll have extra in case you forget.

What about those meddling kids??

Hey we LOVE kids! If you have kids and would like to bring them, please feel free; however there are hazards to be aware at the Venue that will require constant parenting- a large pond, chockeable hazards, large pastures with ankle twisting holes, raptors, coyotes, and of course strange people dressed in 80s attire, dancing and drinking...

Do I HAVE to wear a stupid 80s costume??

Answer

Of course not BUT... If you don't, you will be asked to sing one of Joe and Shelly's favorite 80s song in front of the entire wedding party.....
