Our Story
When we both graduated in May 2022 (Elisa from Boise State & Joseph from CU Boulder) neither of us had the intention of being in Boise only months later. But by God's great intervention our life plans re-routed us to Boise in September where we met working at St. Paul's student center (Elisa's Newman center in college). We had the chance to develop a beautiful foundation of friendship that year & began dating in May. It was so amazing to see all the ways our lives crossed paths even years before we met like Joseph's good friend going to Petersburg, Alaska (Elisa's home town in the actual middle of nowhere) in 2018 when she was a senior in high school or Elisa going on a mission trip last minute with a lot of students from CU Boulder (most were close friends with Joseph) her senior year of college. After our paths crossing multiple times they finally came together & we got engaged in the same chapel at St. Paul's where we first met. Thank goodness God's plans are greater than our own!
