What is the weather like in Colorado in October?

Answer

Who knows!? It could be cold, sunny, cloudy or even snowy! Luckily for us, snow is not predicted, but there may be some rain. Temperatures should not get above 60 though so plan for it to be a little chilly or down right cold.

Are children invited?

Yes! Of course! Please just let us know if they are more than 6 years old and not on the rsvp list.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place at Christie's of Genesee. The venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces that will be utilized throughout the night.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Put this address into your phone: 25918 Genesee Trail Rd #140, Golden, CO 80401 or Christies of Genesee is located just off I-70 West, exit 254 Genesee Park - across from the Buffalo Overlook. Turn left off the exit and go over I-70. Left at the stop sign and the venue is on the right side.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love you as you are! Come in whatever makes you happy and comfortable. But please avoid holes in jeans and ripped Ts.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and extended family will be taking photographs nearby for around an hour. Guests can head inside for drinks and friends while they wait. During this time you can sign our guest book!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The venue asks us to not allow guests to arrive any earlier than 6pm. We will start the ceremony promptly at 6:15 pm. We have moved it up due to sunset expected at 6:32.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

No. We are planning an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a photographer and would love her to be able to do her job without interference. During the reception please feel free to take pictures or post as you wish.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving a full dinner, cake, and drinks. Please be prepared to show identification.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is enough! But if you would like to gift us something, due to currently residing in North Carolina, we kindly ask all gifts brought to the actual wedding be in the form of cash, or gift cards. We would appreciate Amazon, Home Depot, or visa cards to help us decorate and improve our new home. If you would like to order us a gift and have it sent to our new home in Louisburg, NC, we are registered on Amazon. The link is in the registry tab.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No. We kindly ask you to find your own transportation to and from the venue. If you find yourself struggling to do so, please contact the bride or groom for help.
