Outdoor/indoor?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors (heated/air conditioned). This is an outdoor venue for the most part, so dress accordingly. There is some walking involved due to the fact that we are on a large property. Consider keeping the stilettos at home....

What happens after the ceremony?

Cocktail hour for you with finger food and drinks- enjoy! As for the bride and groom- lots and lots of pictures.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yes and yes. BBQ buffet style. Open bar.

Parking and transportation to site?
Answer
Onsite parking for all guests is provided. Golf cart transportation is provided for those who need it.

Can I leave my vehicle at the venue overnight?
Answer
No cars can be left overnight. Guests who are drinking alcohol must remember to have either a designated driver or have someone drop them off at the venue and pick them up, use an Uber service, or stop drinking early enough to be sober to drive. All cars left after the closing time will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

What?! No! We are buying it for you! It's open bar. Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages to the wedding or consume it from their cars.

I just turned 21 (or I look younger than my age)- should I bring my ID? Will I be carded in order to drink alcohol?
Answer
Yes, please bring your ID! Bartenders will ask for ID in order to be served alcohol if you look under 30 years of age.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We hired this really great photographer, Megan, to take our ceremony pictures, so we prefer you refrain from taking photos at that time, but anytime after the ceremony or during the reception, please take all the pictures your heart desires! #HappilyEverRodgers2022
