Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are happy for our guests to come how they are comfortable. We ask no blue jeans and/or T-shirts. There will be multiple guests wearing tartan kilts and trousers, if you wish to wear tartan we ask you to wear a kilt. The father of the bride and groom will be the only individuals in tartan trousers. If you are curious about renting a tartan kilt, please see this link... https://william-glen-son.business.site/

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are opting not to have a registry as we have already built a wonderful home together. We are more than happy with your presence at our wedding as a gift. Should you still wish to gift us something for our marriage, funds towards our future honeymoon would be more than appreciated.

Are all guests invited to the welcome party?!

Answer

​YES! We hope to see everyone at our welcome party. See Schedule page for more details.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony? Is the reception in the same place?

Answer

Please arrive at the Wayfare Tavern at 2:45 pm to be directed to the ceremony locations (upstairs). The ceremony will being promptly at 3 pm. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Wayfare Tavern.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! We want all our guests to enjoy themselves. We will have a private bar with all drink options available, as well as pre-selected wine for the meal.

Are there any menu choices? Should I let you know of any of dietary restrictions?

Answer

No, there are no individual dinner choices. Dinner will be family style with a selection of food for each course. Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate you, this is no trouble at all. Children will be offered the same food as everyone else if they are interested. Otherwise, please let us know how we can help to accommodate your little ones needs!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will all be indoors at the Wayfare Tavern. San Francisco spring weather can be unpredictable!

Question

Where is the best place to stay? Will there be any shuttles?

Answer

There are many hotels within walking distance of the Wayfare Tavern. We have included a room block link and other suggestions in the accommodations tab. We will not have a shuttle service since the venue is within walking distance of all suggested hotels.
